AN/APX-119 Transponder 5841-01-693-3952 4079100-0541
This requirement is for manufacturing services. Our manufacturing services strategy is a two-year contract and will continue through FY27. The projected quantities will be 217 units.
The Government’s needs for manufacturing services are required in order to upgrade C-130J aircraft to meet the requirements of AMC 22-042 "Maintain Traffic and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) While Inhibiting Position Reporting Systems Emissions,” Urgent Operation Need (UON) 25-008 and to mitigate Diminishing Manufacture Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) of the legacy IFF Transponder (PN: 4079100-0522).
The AN/APX-119 Transponder, These transponders are essential to enable existing Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) capabilities while selectively inhibiting, "open air" position reporting systems, such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out and/or Air Traffic Control (ATC) Mode Select (S).
