Procure and Replace Log Boom at North Hartland Lake, North Hartland, VT

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Procurement and Replacement of a Log Boom at North Hartland Lake, North Hartland, VT.

THE WORK CONSISTS OF:

Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the following work at North Hartland Lake.

Procure and Replace:

• Log boom wire rope with one inch (1”) diameter continuous length, six by nineteen (6 X 19) galvanized, Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), approximately twenty- three hundred feet (2300’) in length.


• Twenty (20), twenty foot (20’) long boom logs


• Forty (40) log boom chains


• Twelve (12) one inch (1”) rope clamps


• Two (2) one-inch (1”) thimbles


• The Contractor shall remove existing wire rope, deteriorated logs marked for removal, and used hardware (chains, clamps, and thimbles) to dispose of properly off site.


• The Government may exercise an option for the supply and delivery of five (5) additional twenty foot (20’) long booms to designated on site storage area.

This is not a request for quotes at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about November 19, 2024. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov).

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
