PROCESS EQUIPMENT

NATURAL GAS ENGINE GENERATOR

The Town of Westerly RI is seeking Sealed Bids for supply of a Natural Gas Engine

Generator to be used for emergency power at the Town’s Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, local time, on March 3, 2026, at the office of the

Purchasing Department, 2nd Floor Office, Westerly Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Westerly,

RI 02891, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Town Council

Chambers starting at 2:05 PM local time. Any Bids received after the specified time will not

be considered.

Contract documents will be available on the Town website and will be uploaded/advertised at

the following websites:

Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and the Successful Bidder will be

required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding

Documents.

The Town of Westerly, as a recipient of federal grant funds, requires that the Bidder

complies with all Federal and State flow-down requirements prescribed in the Bidding

Documents.

Prospective Bidders are asked to attend a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at 10:00 am on

February 10, 2026.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or parts thereof, or to waive

irregularities in the Bids received, and to accept the Bid or parts thereof deemed to be most

favorable to the best interest of the Town.
