Process Blower Building Feeder Cables Replacement

The Town of Leesburg is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to demolish electrical power conductors between Substation 45B and the Process Blower Building, cleaning of ductbank conduits and video inspection of all of the conduits within the ductbanks. Work also includes installation and termination of new conductors within the existing ductbanks, acceptance testing the new conductors and other electrical work. Contractor shall provide temporary power to all affected structures during shutdowns.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting:

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on February 12, 2026 at 2:00 pm (local time).  The pre-bid meeting will be onsite located at 1391 Russell Branch Parkway SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. It is strongly recommended that all bidders attend this meeting to gain a thorough understanding of the project.  Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The pre-bid meeting will not be conducted remotely (virtually).

Bid Opening:

Bids will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams using the eVA e-Procurement website on March 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm (local time).  The bid opening will be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams and made available to the public.
