Title: Printer Services and Supplies for Boone County Fiscal Court (2025)
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 5/5/2025
Due Date: 5/19/2025
Boone County Information Systems is looking for a partner vendor to provide printer maintenance and break fix services for our printer fleet. We are also interested in monitoring printer supplies so that consumables could automatically be drop shipped to the printer location when they meet a usage threshold. There is not an interest in hosting the printer queues remotely, those are managed in-house. Another desired service would be printer recommendations. Typically printers fall into a tiered list that requires different pricing depending on age and efficiency. We would like recommendations for new printer devices to help guide purchases towards printers that would be most cost effective to own based on those tiers. Ideally these services would be wrapped into an all inclusive price per page. This will be helpful for budgeting and awareness of usage. Also having a local technician that would consistently service these devices would be helpful because of the different buildings and contacts that would require assistance. This would provide consistency and familiarity for our users and help build a rapport for the selected vendor. Finally, the ideal partner would have a recycling program available for us to return and recycle used toner cartridges as part of the included services. We would like to have OEM toner with zero exceptions, as we have a bad history with re-manufactured toners.
Our selection of a strategic partner will be made on a total value basis, meaning cost and service are both highly valued. Other important considerations in our decision-making process may include value-added services, account management, commitment to continuous improvement, and robust reporting capabilities.
