Quoting vendor must be responsible for product and artwork. This is to not be sourced out to a 3rd party . Quoting vendor must supply proof of artwork on flag. Quoting vendor must provide sample of flag (if requested to do so) to proceed with printing of artwork. Flags should be completed on or before Wednesday, June 25, 2025.


EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF WORK

The Houston Public Library (HPL) is seeking to procure large or extra-large Zoom Flex Flags to be placed outside of all library locations to enhance visibility, increase attendance, and improve community engagement in programming and services. Many HPL locations are not easily recognizable as libraries, and these flags will serve as clear markers for customers.

HPL requires high-quality, durable, and weather-resistant flags that are easy to install, maintain, and transport when necessary.

Project Goals and Objectives:

·         To enhance visibility and recognition of HPL locations.

·         Boost attendance at library locations.

·         Increase awareness of library services and programming.

·         Ensure the flags are durable for long-term use.

·         Provide a consistent and professional look across all library locations.

Vendor agrees to the following:

1. Flag Development

a. Coordinate with HPL’s design and content teams to develop creative, high-quality assets for the flags. (red flag with white letters and a black outline)

b. Experience in producing custom outdoor signage.

c. Ability to accommodate bulk orders with a clear timeline.

d. Warranty or replacement policy for defective items.

2. Flag Material and Durability:

a. Flags should be made of high-quality fabric suitable for outdoor use with reinforced stitching to prevent unraveling.

b. Approximately 46” – 64” wide x 160.13” – 178.38” high x 1.75” diameter or 34.63” wide x 222.5 high x 1.75” diameter when mounted.

c. Shape should be feathered.

d. A stable base should include ground spikes for soft ground surfaces.

e. Easy assembly and disassembly for storage and transport.

3. Timeline:

a. Flags should be completed on or before Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

4. Submission Requirements:

 Cost of 50 feathered shape flags measured at 46” – 64” wide x 160.13” – 178.38” high x 1.75” diameter.

 Cost of 50 feathered shape flags measured at 34.63” wide x 222.5 high x 1.75” diameter.
