Forestry and Parks
KCGC is in the southwest portion of the province, approximately 50 kilometres south of Canmore and approximately 100 kilometres west of Calgary. KCGC encompasses approximately 604-acres and includes a world-class 36-hole golf course with greens, a driving range, landscaping, pathways, and irrigation systems. Auxiliary facilities at the site include several buildings – a club house, administration office, pro shop and golf cart parkade, tournament pavilion, maintenance, and staff housing – as well as parking lots, roads, and utilities to support operations.
KCGC is a popular destination for golfing due to its world-class status, affordable greens fees, and proximity to Calgary. Since its inception, the facilities have been operated and maintained by a third party under an operator agreement, while Alberta Forestry and Parks (AFP) has retained responsibility for capital upgrades and infrastructure ownership.
Since the complex formalization within the park in 1983, multiple upgrades and additional assets and services have been installed. The integrity and location of the assets are currently unknown.
The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to conduct an Infrastructure Condition Assessment for the existing infrastructure within the Kananaskis Country Golf Course complex.
Refer to RFP document for additional details and complete scope of work.
