MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING/SITE INSPECTION – August 14, 2025 @ 10:00 a.m. Location: 1415 Harrison St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 Conference Room D

SCOPE OF WORK

The reroof and repair project is located at 1415 Harrison Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Grew Grewett, Project Manager/Coordinator, is the Owner’s Representative and may be contacted regarding any questions by phone at 269-552-3131 or grewettg@kalamazoocity.org.

1.1 The project consists of installing Carlisle’s Sure-Seal (black) Adhered Roofing System as outlined below for Primary Settling Roof Section 1:

Remove all of the existing roof down to the deck. Remove all skylights and unused penetrations, and then install adequate decking once they are removed. Install a fully adhered EPDM Roofing System in conjunction with adding (2) layers of 2.6” polyisocyanurate insulation with tapered saddles between drains. Install new edge metal, color to be determined by the city. (See attached Specifications)

1.2 The project will also consist of repairs that will be made to primary settling, raw pump and instrument tech roofs. The specific sections of these roof repairs are listed in the attached plans/drawings and attachment a. (See attached Plans/Drawings & Attachment A)

The bidder shall have all work completed by November 15, 2026.
