Description

The Houston Police Department is seeking bid for Preventative Maintenance and Repairs For Gym Equipment at 19 HPD locations. All technicians shall possess experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial fitness equipment to include but not limited to the following brands: Life Fitness, Nautilus, Paramount, Hammer Strength, Precor, Nordic Track, Promaxima. Certified technicians must be able to complete repairs and warranty issues. This is for a two (2) year service agreement , in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions specified in the solicitation.

Preventative Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance includes, but is not restricted to, the inspection, lubrication, adjustment, cleaning and correction of deficiencies in order to limit or offset, major repairs. The inspection consists of testing for proper operation, calibration and alignment of assemblies, parts, functions and programs. Preventative maintenance shall be accomplished within the prescribed time frame and as recommended by the manufacturer.

Any repairs, parts and labor to the equipment not covered by the PM agreement will be quoted separately and approved by the HPD GSU prior to the performance of the repairs.

Parts & Supplies

The contractor will submit a written estimate to the HPD GSU outlining the cost of repairs including parts and labor. All replacement parts shall be new, factory parts if covered by warranty or new, equivalent parts required to bring a piece of equipment up to manufacturer’s standards.
