PRESSURE REDUCING VAVLVE (PRV) DESIGN

The proposed project is for the design of three (3) pressure reducing valve assemblies and pre-cast

concrete vaults at the locations listed above. The project consists of producing design

specifications and drawings based upon the current meter flow data, drawings and locations provided

in the bid documents. The Bidder shall submit with his proposal, a schedule for the design and

fabrication of the three (3) pressure reducing valve assemblies and pre-cast concrete vaults, said

schedule to include the date following the date of the public bid opening and a date for completing

the fabrication of the pressure reducing valve assemblies and vaults. The Bidder will also be

required to deliver the complete pressure reducing valve assembly and vault to the site when

determined by the City Engineer. This project is funded through an EPA Grant, and all Bacon-Davis

requirements and City of Southgate Wage Rate Ordinances will be in effect.
