The City of North Miami Beach, FL (the "City"), is soliciting sealed responses for Prequalification of General Contractors for Construction Projects (2) . Responses are to be submitted via the City's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/citynmb PRIOR TO 3:00 pm on Friday, July 25, 2025 . Late responses will not be accepted.

The City of North Miami Beach is seeking to prequalify experienced and qualified general contractors to participate in upcoming construction projects within the City. The purpose of this prequalification process is to ensure that all contractors meet the necessary financial, technical, and performance standards required to successfully complete projects in accordance with the City's quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. This prequalification process will assess contractors based on their experience, financial stability, past performance, safety record, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Contractors that meet the required criteria will be placed on a prequalified bidders list and invited to participate in future solicitations for construction projects.

Interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications in accordance with the instructions outlined in this document. Only contractors that successfully prequalify through this process will be eligible to bid on designated projects.

The City of North Miami Beach encourages participation from diverse, qualified contractors, including small, minority, and women-owned businesses.

Upon close of the solicitation, the City will not accept proposals from firms or prequalify firms in efforts to be added to the prequalified general contractors list. However, the City may re-open the prequalification pool on an annual basis for additional prequalified general contractors (aligned with the term of the contract), at the City's sole discretion.
