Precision Impedance and Dielectric Spectroscopy System

Binghamton University intends to procure a precision impedance and dielectric spectroscopy system.

1. Impedance Analysis Capabilities

The system must include an impedance analyzer capable of:

• Frequency range from 101,1Hz to at least 32 MHz
• Measurement of complex impedance (magnitude and phase) across a wide frequency and voltage range
• High phase accuracy and stability suitable for low-loss dielectric materials and conductive interfaces

1. Dielectric Interface Module

A dielectric interface must be provided that enables:

• Broadband dielectric spectroscopy when integrated with the impedance analyzer
• Direct measurement of permittivity and loss tangent
• Support for both parallel plate and other custom sample configurations

1. Software Requirements

System must include a full-featured instrument control and analysis software suite

• Capable of automated data acquisition and impedance modeling
• Support for equivalent circuit fitting, complex plane plotting, and dielectric constant extraction
• Must include licenses for all required software components

1. System Integration

Dielectric interface module must be fully compatible with the impedance analyzer

• No additional external frequency response analyzer (FRA) should be required
• Full software integration between modules is required

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) {a}, which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity / product or service.
