Pre-Engineered Fabricated Washroom Pods

SRC is inviting quotations for the Supply of Pre-Engineered Fabricated Washroom Pods (“the Project”). These will be installed indoors in a new construction chemical processing facility in Saskatoon, SK.

When mutually agreeable between SRC and the successful Respondent, any resulting agreement may be extended to cover additional related requirements for the next approximate five (5) year period.

The purpose of this Request for Quotations (RFQ) is to identify respondents able to meet SRC’s requirements in an economical and timely manner, and to identify a respondent with whom the Proposed Agreement can be executed.

The scope of work includes the supply of five (5) prefabricated 2-piece washroom pods (toilet + sink) for the MPU building at the Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as follows:
• MPU SE Corner (Appendix A.1 – 14933-RPG-000-Z0363): two washrooms serving up to 20 people, consisting of one (1) unisex non-accessible pod and one (1) universal barrier-free accessible pod, in accordance with NBC 2020 Article 3.8.3.13 and Sentence 3.7.2.2(2).
• MPU Extension (Appendix A.2 – 14933-RPG-000-Z0364): three washrooms serving up to 30 people, consisting of one (1) male non-accessible pod, one (1) female non-accessible pod, and one (1) universal barrier-free accessible pod, in accordance with NBC 2020 Article 3.8.3.13 and Sentence 3.7.2.2(12).
Pods are to be factory-fabricated offsite, complete with finishes, fixtures, accessories, and integrated systems. They must be designed for industrial use, functional, durable, easy to clean, and consistent in appearance with the existing facility in accordance with Appendix C – Reference Images and Finish Standards. Each pod shall include an exhaust fan designed for simple connection to the building’s exhaust ducting.
Proponents must include all associated costs, including but not limited to design, fabrication, quality assurance, delivery (Incoterms DAP Saskatoon), in their quoted prices (Table 2).
