Pre-Advertisement Notice for Yard Debris Processing, Hauling and Diversion Program

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Public Works (DPW), will shortly undergo a Multi-Step
Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for
Bid (IFB) towards the procurement of processing, hauling, and diverting yard debris generated from
residential properties, City parks, and forestry operations. Interested vendors during the prequalification
phase will be evaluated to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements including
demonstrated completion of similar projects, qualifications and experience of key personnel, safety
performance metrics, capacity for rapid mobilization, and proven ability to manage organic materials for
reuse and greenhouse gas reduction. The City¿s expectation is that the selected vendor will efficiently
process and haul yard debris within required timelines, comply with all regulations, provide adequate
resources, deliver quality reuse products, and maintain accurate reporting. A Pre-Solicitation Conference
