    Project Description: Helene Relief – Construction of Standard Bridge Replacement on Private
    Roads Located at 581 & 885 Eagle Bridge Road, Burnsville, NC in Mitchell
    and Yancey Counties
    The North Carolina Department of Public Safety Emergency Management Division and the
    Department of Transportation are requesting bids for the construction of Standard Bridge
    Replacement on Private Roads Located at 581 & 885 Eagle Bridge Road, Burnsville, NC in
    Mitchell and Yancey Counties to be let at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
    The availability date for this project is March 20, 2026.
    The completion date for this project is October 1, 2026.
    Because of the unusual nature of the work involved and in order for all prospective bidders
    to have extensive knowledge of the project, an open, virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held
    for all interested parties on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 9:30 am.
