Synopsis:

Offers, executed, and dated will be received at the office of MacPherson Engineering Inc. on behalf of the Moose Jaw Housing Authority by email to g.fluter@mac-eng.ca before 2:00 pm local time on the 19th day of February 2026.

The intent of this bid call is to obtain an offer to replace the hotwater boilers, remove the indirect water heater and replace with a new gas-fired water heater, as well as all related equipment and material at the 5 buildings at Prairie Meadow Apartments located at 1250 11th Avenue SW in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, for a Stipulated Price, in accordance with the Contract Documents.

It is the intent that the Work on site commence after the winter heating season in 2026, with the project wrapping up by August 31, 2026. The intent is for all new equipment to arrive on site prior to commencing demolition of the existing heating system.

A mandatory site visit for bidders will take place on the 10th day of February 2026 at 10:00am. A brief project introduction will be conducted outside prior to entering the boiler room.

Additional Information:

Bids shall be accompanied by a security deposit as follows: Bid bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the bid price. Submit with the Bid Form and Bid Bond, a Consent of Surety, stating that the surety providing the Bid Bond is willing to supply the Performance and Labour
and Materials Payment Bond required.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject tenders from parties without reasonable acquaintance with the class of work specified. Evidence of competency shall be provided if requested. These reservations shall apply equally to sub-contractors.
