Description

The US Mission Geneva intends to award a sole source contract to CC Sanitaire for fire safety system installation. The requirement is for installation of a secondary fire hydrant system at the Mission of the United States of America, Route de Pregny 11, 1292 Pregny-Chambésy, Geneva, as required by the local fire safety service (service de sécurité incendie). for the automatic voltage regulation equipment at the chancery.



The work involves installation of a fire hydrant valve at the garage entrance, including: removal and relocation of existing fire cabinet; modification of main water supply with installation of fire department valve; installation of new piping to garage entrance; installation of interior hydrant valve with wheel valve and exterior Storz connection; installation of domestic water supply line from hydrant valve; installation of three bypass valves; coordination with local utilities (SIG); water commissioning and testing. Materials include specialized fire safety equipment such as 100mm and 65mm cast iron valves, Storz connections, stainless steel Nussbaum piping and fittings (108mm and 76mm), and associated hardware
