PP648 Thompson Pumping Plant Rehabilitation

♦ The PP 648 Thompson Pumping Plant is located at 346 Culver Blvd, Playa Del Rey, California
90293. The plant serves the City’s Wastewater Collection System. This plant is located within a
residential and commercial area west of the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), on the southeast side of
Culver Boulevard. The Thompson pumping plant services the West Los Angeles service area and is
represented by the Westchester/Playa Del Rey Neighborhood Council.

♦ The scope of work consists of demolition, procurement, replacement, and installation of pumping
plant’s mechanical, electrical, communication, instrumentation, and control systems as well as
landscaping, architectural, civil, and structural improvements as shown in the contract documents.
Installation of a new gate maintenance hole and realignment of existing 8-inch sewer, traffic control,
and sewer bypass are also part of the project.
