Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B20723Q00000004 for the award of a firm fixed-price construction contract entitled UPGRADE POWERHOUSE, STEAM HEADER at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.



USP LEWISBURG is a Federal Correctional Facility located at 2400 Robert F. Miller Drive, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania 17837. The project consists of providing all labor, tools and materials required to perform a complete demolition, fabrication & installation of new steam header and all related piping. Consideration must be made to provide steam to the institution during demolition and replacement of the new steam header, to prevent down time. All work will be completed by contract and will comply with all federal, state, and local laws, codes, regulations, including those pertaining to OSHA, Life Safety and accessibility issues See the Specification attachment included with the solicitation posting for the complete requirements of the work.



The performance period for the project will be 120 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
