Background

The City of Seattle has successfully deployed Microsoft Power Platform as a key enabler of digital transformation and operational efficiency. Since its introduction, the platform has seen widespread adoption, supporting a growing ecosystem of more than 20+ enterprise-grade applications, hundreds of citizen-developed apps, and thousands of Power Automate flows.

This organic growth has demonstrated the platform’s value in empowering departments to solve business problems, streamline workflows, and reduce reliance on traditional development resources. However, as adoption continues to scale, the City recognizes the need for a more sustainable, governed, and supportable model to ensure long-term success.

Seattle IT is now seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Power Platform services that will support the City’s transition from early adoption to a mature, enterprise-wide sustainment model. This includes services that will help:

  • Maintain and enhance existing solutions
  • Provide scalable support for new development, alongside an internal team
  • Establish and enforce governance best practices across the platform
  • Support the City’s goals for equity, accessibility, and digital inclusion

The selected vendor(s) will play a key role in helping the City of Seattle evolve its Power Platform ecosystem into a sustainable, secure, and citizen-empowered environment.
