Portable Photosynthesis System with Fluorometer
Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Portable Photosynthesis System with Fluorometer from LI-COR, Inc as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods as well as its ability to meet compatibility requirements of an existing line of equipment and based on the supplier being the single provider of the goods and/or services. System must provide: 1)integrated measurement of photosynthesis (CO2 assimilation), stomatal conductance, transpiration, and chlorophyll fluorescence using a single instrument platform, 2)closed/open gas exchange system with precise control of CO2, water vapor, leaf temperature, light intensity (PAR), flow rate, and humidity, 3) reliable battery-powered field operation across a range of outdoor environmental conditions, 4)measurement sensitivity and optical stability sufficient to detect subtle physiological responses across genotypes, irrigation treatments, and stress exposures, and 5)compatibility with existing OSU SOREC physiological research data, protocols, and calibration workflows developed with current systems in use at OSU. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at
