Safety & Protection
Contractor shall furnish and maintain both Workmen’s Compensation and General
Liability Insurance.
Contractor shall construct and/or apply markers, barricades, and safety measures
to ensure safe working conditions for employees, Park Staff and Visitors.
Contractor shall protect work site(s) and adjacent park area(s) from onset to project
completion from debris that could impact parking areas, landscaping, walkways
and other accessible buildings and common areas near and around the work site(s).
Contractor shall be responsible for all post-project clean-up.
Contractor shall remove all debris (including nails and metals, all disposable
materials offsite) at the end of each workday.
Contractor shall be responsible for all materials deliveries and protection of
materials and equipment during construction.
Contractor shall be responsible for any permits that may be required.
ADPHT is not responsible for equipment or materials left on project site.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision,
transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the entire Scope of Work that
follows.

Scope of Work
Contractor shall furnish, deliver, and fully install one (1) new commercial-grade swimming
pool liner replacement, inclusive of furnishing one (1) premium-grade in ground swimming
pool cover. Contractor is responsible for removal and proper disposal of existing pool liner.

General Information:
Devil’s Den State Park’s current pool liner, installed in 2002, needs to be replaced with a
RenoSys Commercial liner or a similar, equivalent reinforced membrane liner. The pool
measures 35’ by 68’ with an average depth of four (4) feet. The shallow end is three feet
deep with five (5) risers across the width of the pool. The deep end is five (5) feet deep. The
slope is 1:20. The 2002 construction prints are available for review upon request.
This bid also includes a safety mesh pool cover.
Project Location:
The pool is located next to the Ridge Runner Cafe and store, adjacent to Lake Devil.
Minimum Specifications for Pool Liner Replacement and Pool Cover
Pool Liner:
Contractor to remove and replace pool liner with RenoSys or similar reinforced
commercial-grade membrane liner.
New liner shall be a RenoSys or similar reinforced commercial-grade membrane, 60
mil PVC liner.
Contractor to provide proper disposal of old liner.
Contractor shall ensure proper preparation of pool surface for application of
geotextile felt.
Install and secure liner.
Weld seams for a watertight seal.
Contractor shall attach flanges at penetrations, if necessary, to ensure liner remains
secure and leak-free.
Contractor shall perform final inspection of liner prior to re-filling the pool.

Pool liner construction must meet or exceed the specifications for a RenoSys 60 mil,
reinforced, textured PVC membrane.
Warranty: Shall cover delamination, pitting, leaks, tearing, cracking and/or failure to
remain watertight.
o Coverage Term - 10 years from the date of installation
o Coverage Type - Full repair or replacement (not prorated)
o Components - Minimum one (1) year warranty for fasteners, caulk, and fitting
Pool Cover:
Contractor to provide premium grade, in-ground swimming pool safety cover.
Pool Cover construction and fitments must meet or exceed the following minimum
specifications:
o Two-ply/High-strength, heavy duty 98% shade mesh
o Load-bearing Capacity: Minimum Break strength of 4000 lbs.
o Two (2) foot perimeters overlap for secure fit.
o Must have wear-resistant strips on underside of cover
o Stitching: triple stitching
o Must have Double, reinforced straps
o Stainless steel springs
o Buckles
o Complete installation kit, including tools
o Storage Bag
Warranty: Minimum pro-rated, ten (10) year warranty
Work Schedule:
Work will only be permitted Monday – Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. CST.
All workdays and work hour scheduling require prior approval from the Park
Superintendent.
Finalization:
All work must be completed and inspected within 60 days of award. (excluding
approved weather or material delays)
Perform final site clean-up.

Additional/Other:
All Bidders are required to have an on-site visit scheduled with the Park
Superintendent. Signed Site Visit Verification Form is required for bid submission
and acceptance. Make appointment with Park for site visit.
VENDOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MEASUREMENTS BEING VERIFIED.
Any damage discovered will be reported to park representative in writing and will be
submitted to ADPT Central Office Buyer, prior to any repair work being completed.
