Polymer 8837
The Town of Hartford is requesting bids for Polymer 8837 delivered to our wastewater
treatment facility in White River Junction. This bid should address the period from July 1,
2026 to June 30, 2028.
Scope of Services:
The contract will include the delivery of 275 gallon totes of Polymer 8837 per order, to our
wastewater treatment facility in White River Junction.
Basis of Award:
The contract shall be awarded to a responsible and responsive proposer as determined by
the Town and review will include the following considerations:
* Ability to perform successfully under the terms of the scope of services
* Prior experience and past record of performance
* Price of product
* Any other criteria considered relevant by the Town
Insurance:
Contractor must maintain and provide proof of Worker's Compensation, Comprehensive
General Liability Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance and Property Damage Insurance
(minimum of $2,000,000 aggregate, $1,000,000 per occurrence). The Town of Hartford is to
be named as certificate holder. The contractor agrees to hold harmless, indemnify and
defend the Town of Hartford for all liability arising out of the project, except that arising out
of the sole negligence of the Town of Hartford.
Instructions:
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled "FY2027 Polymer 8837 Bids"
and will be received at the Town of Hartford, Town Manager's Office, 171 Bridge Street, 2nd
Floor, White River Junction, Vermont 05001, no later than 11:00am on Thursday, July 2,
2026. Bids received after the noted time and date will not be accepted. Faxed or emailed
bids will not be accepted.
Rejection of Bids:
The Town of Hartford reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to award contracts in
whole or in part if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town.

Revision to the Request for Bids:
The Town of Hartford reserves the right to modify any technical and submission
requirements associated with this bid and the scope of work.
Limitations of Liability:
The Town of Hartford assumes no responsibility and no liability for costs incurred by the
proposer in responding to the Request for Bid or in responding to any further request for
interviews, additional data, etc. prior to issuance of a contract. Purchases subject to
annual budgetary appropriation.
