The Town of Amherst is inviting sealed bids for police uniforms. Â Invitation for Bids may be obtained at
www.amherstma.gov/bids
.
Bids shall be submitted no later than 2:00pm on Thursday, July 24, 2025, to the Town Accountant’s Office at 4 Boltwood Ave, Amherst, MA 01002, where the bids will be publicly opened and recorded at that time.
The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.

Special Requirements:

Vendor must have the ability to send a representative to the Amherst Police Department for sizing and customization purposes for a minimum of five (5) times per fiscal year, either for scheduled or emergency requests.
Vendor must maintain a storefront location within a 50-mile radius from the Amherst Police Department in order to facilitate emergency uniform and equipment needs during normal business and closed hours.
