Project Description: The City of Peoria Arizona is seeking a qualified design build team to provide design and construction services for an expansion of its existing Police facilities located at the Pinnacle Peak Public Safety Campus, 23100 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway. Constructed in 2018, the Police Patrol Services Building was master planned to include an eventual 9,000 square foot, single story expansion with accompanying minor site modifications. The expansion enables Police department growth in capacities beyond patrol including precinct command, investigations, community relations, and administrative support.
Submitting teams shall possess and demonstrate recent and advanced knowledge of police public safety site and facility design or an equivalent institutional project type with key attributes of secure and threat responsive design and construction (ex: FBI headquarters). An architectural team component must be broadly experienced in police facility design. The contractor component of the team must have substantial demonstrated experience in using the design build delivery method, must be experienced in delivering comprehensive preconstruction services, and must be the Arizona licensed general contractor to construct the facilities under an at-risk, open-book/negotiated contract structure. Experience in project delivery utilizing a Design Build delivery method and demonstration of very high customer satisfaction from past clients from the programming phase through the warranty phase will be substantially weighted prequalifications. The City of Peoria’s all-inclusive FY2026-2027 capital budget for this project is $11.2M of which $8.8M is anticipated as the cost of construction
