General
The City of Sandersville is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide proper
RFQ’s for the cost of design meetings and drawings for the rehabilitation of our police department.
Services required to determine the feasibility of redevelopment of the building located on 130
Malone Street in Sandersville, Georgia. The feasibility plan shall address the condition of the
building, options for rehabilitation and the estimated cost with drawings and plans. The selected
firm must have considerable experience in downtown redevelopment/rehabilitation projects and a
verifiable record of successful similar projects for multiple clients added into their proposal.
The selection criteria for the project will include:
The firm’s experience in preparing feasibility studies including cost estimates for
downtown redevelopment projects;
The experience on these types of projects of the actual project personnel assigned to this
project;
The functionality and aesthetics of similar projects completed by the firm;
The ability to communicate effectively with key City personnel assigned to this project;
The firm’s methodology for calculating and proposing fees for services (a fee range for
the project is preferred as part of this submittal)
Specifications
Needed space consist of the following:
Space for a Municipal Court Room / Council Chambers (combined) with occupancy for 75- 100
people
Employee fitness center
Police Station for the following staff:
Administration Space:
o Police Chief, Deputy Chief, Admin Assistant, Certification Manager,
Patrol Division Space:
o 4 Lieutenants’, 4 Sergeants, 8 Officers, 2 Investigators

BID REQUIREMENTS
1. The bid must be submitted prior to bid deadline of Tuesday, December 2nd at 3:00pm at
which time a bid opening will take place at Sandersville City Hall, 141. W. Haynes Street,
Sandersville, GA 31082.
2. Four (4) copies of the bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked

5. The RFQ shall include the total cost of design meetings and drawings and estimated project

6. The bid should include a completed W-9 Form.

Firms that are interested in viewing the project building may contact The Police Chief Victor
Cuyler or The Deputy Chief Brian Shelton at 478-552-2131 prior to November 25th, 2025 to
schedule an appointment. Detailed information on the City of Sandersville can be obtained from
the City’s website at www.sandersvillega.org. All proposals are due by 3:00 pm on Tuesday,
December 2nd, 2025.

provisions and deadlines established in O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91. Furthermore, the undersigned
contractor will continue to use the federal work authorization program throughout the contract
period and the undersigned contractor will contract for the physical performance of services in
satisfaction of such contract only with subcontractors who present an affidavit to the contractor
with the information required by O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91(b). Contractor hereby attests that its
