The Town of Yarmouth is requesting bids from interested parties to install new toilets in the Police Station Cells and remove the old toilets. Sealed General Contract bids will be received at the Town of Yarmouth DPW, 74 Town Brook Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673 until 12:00 PM on November 7, 2025. Cell toilets are custom for each cell and must installed per M.G.L. 36B.
Bids shall be in a sealed envelope bearing the words:
“BID ENCLOSED FOR – Police Cell Toilets Replacement.”
To receive consideration, Bids shall be submitted no later than the above date and time for the opening. Bid specifications may be obtained immediately on the Town of Yarmouth Website, Doing Business page at https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount.
To receive consideration, Bids must be submitted on the appropriate forms no later than the above date and time schedule for the opening. Bids submitted on forms other than those specified in the IFB package will be rejected without further consideration. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price in the form of a bid bond or certified treasurer’s or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. If upon acceptance of the bid, a Bidder fails to enter into a contract with the Town of Yarmouth, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of the Town.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on October 30, 2025, at the Yarmouth Police Station, 340 Higgins Crowell Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, with an on-site to follow. Please email

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149.
Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal Wage Laws is required of all work done for the Town of Yarmouth. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of M.G.L., Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.
