Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to Issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
The purpose of the PNA is to inform the Consultant community of the upcoming RFQ opportunity. Full
scope of work, instructions and requirements for the upcoming RFQ are to be posted as indicated
below in the anticipated schedule*. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA.

Project Description:
SigOps Traffic Signal Operations Program:
Contract 1: North Region, including District 1 - Gainesville (except Gwinnett County) and District 6 - Cartersville
Contract 2: Southwest Region, including District 3 - Thomaston and District 4 - Tifton
Contract 3: Southeast Region, including District 2 - Tennille and District 5 - Jesup
Summary of Scope of Work:
The Consultant shall provide Traffic Signal Operation services in the assigned Region to improve the operation
and maintenance of traffic signals by utilizing the traffic signal software, high-resolution data, and other GDOT
resources to improve operations and safety across the entire region.
Anticipated Area Class(es) Requirements:
* The Prime Consultant MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below:

* Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Performance Lead (PE required) - One (1) Each

IMPORTANT - A RESTRICTION OF COMMUNICATION IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS PROJECT.
From the advertisement date of this Public Notice Announcement, through the posting of the RFQ, until
successful respondents are selected and the award is made official and announced, firms are not
allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT including the
Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the
upcoming Request for Qualifications, with the contact designated in the PNA/RFQ or as provided by any
existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the
submittal of the offending respondent.
