Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to Issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
The purpose of the PNA is to inform the Consultant community of the upcoming RFQ opportunity. Full
scope of work, instructions and requirements for the upcoming RFQ are to be posted as indicated
below in the anticipated schedule*. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA.

Project Description:
Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 4 - Tifton
Summary of Scope of Work:
The Consultant shall provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 4 - Tifton, which
are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the construction
projects assigned to the Valdosta, Douglas, Donalsonville, Moultrie, and Albany Area Offices; some of the
projects may require night and weekend inspection. The project types may include new construction, widening
and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, and resurfacing.
The selected firm will be expected to provide an estimated (Forty-Five) 45 full-time employees from the job
descriptions and qualifications of personnel listed within the Solicitation.
Anticipated Area Class(es) Requirements:
The Prime Consultant and the Team MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below:

IMPORTANT - A RESTRICTION OF COMMUNICATION IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS PROJECT.
From the advertisement date of this Public Notice Announcement, through the posting of the RFQ, until
successful respondents are selected and the award is made official and announced, firms are not
allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT including the
Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the
upcoming Request for Qualifications, with the contact designated in the PNA/RFQ or as provided by any
existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the
submittal of the offending respondent.
