General Notice
City of Watertown (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
2024 PMP C – NEIGHBORHOOD STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT – 7th AVE SW, 13TH ST NE & 8TH AVE NE PROJECT NO. 2414
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Finance Office located City Hall until Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 2:00p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Approximately 5,222 SY of Full Depth Milling, 2,280 SY of 2” Milling, 1,041 LF of Removing Concrete Curb and Gutter, 2,268 SF of Removing Concrete Sidewalk, 1,490 CY of Unclassified Excavation, 6,410 SY of Base Course, 151 SY of Installing 6” Concrete Fillet Section, 6,553 SF of Installing 4” Concrete Sidewalk, 2,709 SF of Installing 6” Concrete Sidewalk, 230 SF of Furnishing & Installing Detectable Warning Panels, 1,700 LF of Installing Wtn. Modified SDDOT Type B66 C&G or Type P Gutter, 19 Inlet Protections, 4,191 SY of 4” Asphalt Concrete Composite, 4 Manhole adjustments, and landscaping.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2024 PMP C – NEIGHBORHOOD STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT – 7th AVE SW, 13TH ST NE & 8TH AVE NE PROJECT NO. 2414
The 13th St NE/8th Ave NE location of the project has an expected completion date of AUGUST 1, 2024.
The 7th Ave SW location of the project has an expected completion date of SEPTEMBER 27, 2024.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
