Summary
Leon County is seeking the services of qualified vendors to provide various types of plumbing work that may be required under the resultant contract on a continual service basis. At a minimum, the successful vendor must be able to:
1. Inspect and certify Backflow Preventers on a recurring basis.
2. Maintain scale pit clean-outs at transfer station on Gum Road and the Solid Waste Management Facility on Apalachee Parkway.
Other work may include, but not be limited to; small to medium initial installations, repair and service projects, remodeling, projects and building additions. Tasks may include replacement of drains, supply lines, waste removal, and various other related plumbing services. The quantity, scope and size of specific plumbing jobs which may be required are unknown.
Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, management, materials, transportation, equipment, parts and supplies necessary to furnish services requested at various County facilities/sites on an as-needed basis in accordance with written specifications and/or plans as provided by County Management.
The County will only consider bids from Licensed Plumbing Contractors.
Contractor must have Backflow Certification that is recognized by the City of Tallahassee and Talquin Water.
It is the intent of the County to award agreements to multiple bidders or in a fashion best suited to serve Leon County.
