Event Description

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit bids from qualified well service companies to properly plug five oil wells and one salt water disposal well formerly operated by Thomas L. Sunde in accordance with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ oil and gas well plugging requirements outlined in ARSD 74:12:03.

Additional information about the wells is available on the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources online Oil and Gas Resources online database at https://usd-asp.usd.edu/SDGS/oilandgas. Information available includes DANR’s permit files for the wells, scanned well logs and geophysical logs, and information about the operational history of the wells; it is expected that submitting vendors will have reviewed and considered this information when submitting their proposals.

Offerors may email inquiries concerning this RFP to obtain clarification of requirements. No inquiries will be accepted after the date and time indicated in the Schedule of Activities. Inquiries must be emailed Mike Lees to michael.lees@state.sd.us with the subject line “RFP #25RFP13884.”

The State will respond to Offeror’s inquiries (if required) via e-mail. All inquiries and the State’s response will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system.
