Town of Bethel, Pleasant Street Sidewalk Project
Bethel STP BP22(14)
Bids from pre-qualified contractors shall be accepted until 2:00 PM prevailing time on
Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 for construction of the project hereinafter described. A public
bid opening will occur at the Bethel Town Office immediately after the bid submittal
deadline. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to
emergencies or unforeseen conditions.
PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located on Pleasant Street (VT Route 12) in the
Town of Bethel, VT between Sand Hill Road and White River Valley Middle School.
TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes the
construction of concrete sidewalk, retaining wall, granite curb, drainage, signs,
pavement and pavement markings.
CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be completed on or before
October 1st, 2026.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: This contract is governed by the Vermont Agency of
Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for Construction.
QUESTIONS: During the advertisement phase of this project all questions shall be
addressed solely to Rita Seto, 802-457-3188 or rseto@trorc.org. Questions received
through Thursday, June 11th will be formally responded to via addenda, if needed.
