Bidders are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the documents. The intent is to add to, modify, or clarify
the documents. Should any of these items have an effect on price, such changes shall be included in the price bid. These items
have the same force and effect as if contained in the original.
ITEM 1: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q1. Please clarify whether the County intends to install Engineered Wood Fiber surfacing throughout the entire park, or a
combination of surfacing types as depicted in the rendering.
A1. The playground surfacing will be a combination of Poured-in-Place and Engineered Wood Fiber, as indicated
in the rendering.
Q2. Is the surface below the existing playground area concrete?
A2. The existing playground area consists of Poured-in-Place (PIP) surfacing over PIP sub-surface materials with
underlying soil. In the mulched swing area, the surface is installed directly over soil with no concrete base.
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions as listed herein.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260313. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
