  • 1ea – Different variety of 8 foot basket

  • 2ea - 4 foot baskets

  • 8ea - 8 foot work bars

Please refer to Objective below and attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for complete details.

Objectives: The contractor shall provide all necessary services as defined in the DRAFT PWS. This specification includes details for the design and fabrication of the new baskets and work bars. TYAD also has technical drawings of their existing equipment that they will share with interested contractors. The contractor will provide the following services during their design and fabrication.

  • The Contractor will make a visit to TYAD to lay eyes on the equipment, take measurements, and listen to TYAD plating shop employees about desired design changes to the work bars and baskets.

  • The contractor will design new work bars and baskets and include all desired design changes that are feasible and will not compromise the structural integrity of the equipment.

  • The contractor will run stress calculations to determine what the load capacity of the equipment is.

  • The contractor will have one final meeting with TYAD personal to inspect the design.

  • The contractor will fabricate the equipment and TYAD personal will stress test the baskets and work bars as a quality check.

Delivery of the fabricated equipment shall be within 6 months of contract award.

The equipment furnished under this specification shall be warranted for parts and labor for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.
