Platelet pathogen reduction sets

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Cerus Corporation for the purchase of Intercept platelet pathogen reduction sets for use on the government-owned Cerus Illuminator. This will be for a 12-month base period plus four 12-month options from 1 October 2025 through 30 September 2030. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(l)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source, and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 325413.

This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any capability statement or quotation received will be considered.
