Planning Sustainable Places - Round 5Mid-America Regional Council

The Mid-America Regional Council's (MARC) Planning Sustainable Places (PSP) Program provides local governments with financial support to advance detailed local planning and project development activities in support of Creating Sustainable Places, Connected KC 2050's Activity Centers and Corridors framework, and the Mid-America Regional Council's adopted policy statement on regional land use direction. The PSP Program will seek consulting services to complete seventeen Planning Sustainable Places projects. The fifth round RFPs are released via this announcement. A tentative schedule can be found with the RFP documents.

Please visit the link to MARC's RFP page, noted as the contact link, to view each specific project request for more information. A Question-and-Answer page regarding the projects will be provided to disseminate all received questions and will be posted by end of business on February 21, 2025.

  • RFP – Basehor, Kan. - Town Center and Recreation
  • RFP – Bonner Springs, Kan. - Connectivity and Walkability Plan
  • RFP – Overland Park, Kan. - Wayfinding Master Plan

A hybrid pre-bid workshop will be held on February 11, 2025. A recording of that workshop will beposted on MARC's RFP page.

All three RFPs will be due no later than 3 p.m. CST on Friday, February 28, 2025.
