Plain Concrete & Storm Drainage Construction
Contract No. IFB 25-04

Sealed bids are hereby solicited for Construction of Plain Concrete & Storm Drainage Construction located in Herndon, Virginia.

The contract shall include, but not be limited to, removal of existing concrete, installation and finishing (including special finish) of concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, handicapped ramps, aprons, slabs, footings, storm structures, pipes and related work in the Town of Herndon.

Work consists of providing labor, materials, equipment, services, and administration required in conjunction with, or properly incidental to, construction of the project. All work shall be performed in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and OSHA requirements.

Bids are to be submitted through the procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/herndon-va , no later than 1:00 pm prevailing local time, Friday, March 14, 2025 . Bids received after that time, will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 1:05 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2025 , in the Herndon Municipal Center, 2 ^nd Floor Conference Room located at 777 Lynn Street, Herndon, Virginia 20170.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 , at 11:00 am , in the Herndon Municipal Center - Main Conference Room, located at 777 Lynn Street, Herndon, Virginia 20170. .

Bidding Documents may be obtained commencing Thursday, February 13, 2025 through the procurement portal.

All questions concerning the project shall be submitted through the procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/herndon-va . The procurement portal is the only point where information will be disseminated. All questions must be submitted through the procurement portal no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 .

The Town will post addendums on its Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/herndon-va and the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of General Services’ central electronic procurement website (eVA) https://eva.virginia.gov by Friday, February 28, 2025. The Town will post the results of this bid opening and award information on its Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/herndon-va prior to the official bid award.

Bids shall be submitted electronically via the Town of Herndon's eProcurement Portal (OpenGov). Bid Security must accompany each proposal in accordance with Instruction to Bidders. Bids shall be binding for sixty (60) days.

The Town of Herndon reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the town.
