| Description: | The work under this contract may include, but is not limited to, removing, furnishing, and/or installing various concrete curb and gutter, pavement, and driveway and/or alley aprons; various concrete sidewalk, carriage walk, and pedestrian curb ramps with detectable warning fields; road base and boulevard (terrace) restoration materials. All existing road-way base material that is disturbed during the installation of concrete shall be restored to the required thickness, graded and compacted by the Contractor. The road-way base material shall be complete and finished in order to receive asphalt pavement. The City of La Crosse will replace all asphalt pavement removed as part of this contract. The City of La Crosse will furnish all signing and barricades for temporary traffic control. Work shall be at miscellaneous locations throughout the City of La Crosse, as specified on the following pages and as directed by the Engineer or Project Manager. Plans for miscellaneous areas may be provided after the contract is awarded. |
