PL27TEM652 - Oliver Creek Summer Fill Plant – Kamloops TSA (Clearwater)

The proposed contract is for a summer tree re-planting/fill-planting program consisting of approximately 50,000 2+0 412A seedlings and fertilizer to help BCTS meet the goal of reforestation in the Oliver Creek drainage. The Oliver Creek FSR has been closed for 5+ years due to a slope failure near the start of the road.  The slope failure is currently being repaired, and the road is planned to be partly brushed once the repairs are completed.  As a result, the FSR has not been maintained and will likely only be passable via ATV and/or UTV once the repairs at the start of the road are complete.  A preliminary BCTS Access Assessment Checklist 23-1 has been included in the bid documents for review.  BCTS will be responsible for initially flying the trees into caches.
