1	The Bobcat LaPorte Uravan Natural Resource Damage (NRD) Project is located along Montrose County EE22 / Long Park Road, approximately 18 miles north of Naturita, CO. The Bobcat and LaPorte uranium mines are legacy mines located on UMETCO Minerals Corporation-owned mining claims. There are 2 subsidence features exposing the underground mine workings, and surface water is entering the groundwater table through the openings. In addition, the subsidence features are safety hazards. The project will seal the openings with Polyurethane Foam and backfill with onsite waste rock. Hydrologic controls to divert the surface water runoff away from the mine openings will be constructed, and all disturbed areas will be revegetated.
