The DRUM Mexico Group, Gypsum Gap, S Gypsum Project consists of safeguarding thirty one (31) mine features including eleven (11) prospect adits, one (1) vent and nineteen (19) adits. The project will occur on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Tres Rios Field Office in Montrose County and San Miguel County. Closure methods will include grates, corrugated steel pipes, backfill, polyurethane foam, bulkhead, and cable nets. Some features will include bat compatible grates or otherwise require bat exclusions prior to backfill or bulkhead. The uranium mine closure Safety, Health and Environmental Action Plan requirements will be applied.
