- OUTREACH MEETING
Please join us for an information meeting to discuss several upcoming water projects from the Pipelines Engineering department at SAWS.
These projects will be implemented via separate construction solicitations. The construction contracts associated with these projects will be procured either through the low bid method or request for competitive sealed proposal methods (RFCSP) under Chapter 2269 of the Texas Government Code and are tentatively scheduled to be advertised as follows:

This will be an in-person meeting. Sign-in will begin at 8:00 am (CDT), with the formal presentation starting at 8:30 am (CDT) at the SAWS Headquarters, Tower II Conference Room CR-C145. The presentation will provide important information about the projects. To obtain additional information about the project, ask questions, or provide comment, contact Janie M. Powell at 210-233-2443 or via email at Janie.Powell@saws.org .
This outreach meeting is primarily for prime contractors or key subcontractors only. Refer to the estimated scope in Section II below.
Please complete the attached RSVP form and provide to Janie M. Powell, Contract Administrator via email to Janie.Powell@saws.org by the RSVP deadline. Attendees shall RSVP no later than April 1, 2025 by 10:00 AM (CDT). There is a limit of two (2) team members per firm.
Please submit questions and/or comments by April 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM (CDT). Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by April 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM (CDT).

III. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- If your firm is interested in submitting a bid for this project, it is important to register as a vendor on the SAWS Vendor Registration and Notification System. Once registered and the project is advertised, you will be able to view and download the plans and specifications at no charge.

- Contractors are also encouraged to attend the RFCSP Proposal Preparation Training offered by SAWS Contracting. Once the training dates for 2025 are established all attendees to this meeting will be notified by email by Janie Powell, as well as sent a meeting invite to attend the meeting via Webex.
