2025 Pipe Testing, Repairs, and Insulation Project for Sunmount DDSOO Building 2, Unit 1 Crawlspace

OPWDD’s Contract Management Unit for Sunmount DDSOO is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB or NYS small business contractors to perform pipe testing, repairs, and insulation for Sunmount DDSOO Building 2, Unit 1 Crawlspace located at 2445 State Route 30, Tupper Lake, NY 12986.

Pursuant to its discretionary authority under Article 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and State Finance Law section 160(8) – Empire State Development Corporation certified Minority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE), New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), or New York State Small Businesses only. Please provide a copy of your firm’s certification documents when submitting a quote.

State Finance Law 160 (8), defines the terms “small business concern” or “small business” as meaning a business which is resident in New York state, independently owned and operated, not dominant in its field, and employs one hundred or less persons.

References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. The contractor or its principals must be able to provide references that verify they have 3 years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in the Scope of Work. The contractor will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances.

Contractor and its subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and submit their Certificate of Contractor Registration at the time of the bid submission for any Article 8 project.
