Scope of Work: The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from Contractors to provide construction services
of the Pioneer Village Streetscape Improvements Project,
in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of work, technical specifications and plans of the above-mentioned ITBC.

his information session presents an opportunity for vendors to clarify any concerns regarding the bid requirements. The vendor is cautioned that, although the pre-bid conference is optional, no modification or any changes will be allowed in the pricing because of the failure of the vendor(s). Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through eProcurement by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via eProcurement. Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess Florida Underground Utility & Excavation License, and the bidder may also be licensed with State General Contractor’s license and current certificate of competency issued by Broward County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Refer to Qualification of Bidders for additional information. Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, or other acceptable alternative, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (Refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). Shall either be mailed or hand-delivered to the Purchasing and Contract Administration Division, 401 SW 4th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 (Central City Campus, Bldg. A, 2nd Floor) during normal business hours (8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the City). The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax. The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City. Bids will be accepted through a secure mailbox at eProcurement (https://deerfield-beach.ionwave.net/HomePage.aspx) until the Deadline for Submission as indicated in this ITBC. Late Bids will not be accepted. The City will only accept electronic bids for this ITBC. |
