Description


The Pierce County Board of Commissioners will receive separate, sealed bids until 11:00am (local-time), Monday, March 2, 2026, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of rehabilitation improvements for Tiger Field Recreation Park for the county¿s awarded, Land and Water Conservation Fund Project, Grant Number: 13-01090 (P24AP01327). Project shall be funded from the Department of Natural Resources and /or other local funds specified).as funded by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Bids will be opened and read.

The meeting will be held at Pierce County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Donna Golding, County Clerk for the Pierce County Board of Commissioners, 312 Nichols Street, Suite 5 Blackshear, Georgia 31516. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The Pierce County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 11:00am on Monday, February 16, 2026. This conference will be held at the Pierce County Board of Commissioners¿ Office located at 312 Nichols Street, Suite 5 Blackshear, Georgia 31516. This pre-bid conference is intended for all contractors submitting a proposal as the prime contractor. It is also encouraged to have all sub-contractors and product vendors present.

The Scope of Work Includes:

Rehabilitation improvements for Tiger Field Recreation Park.

All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed Date. All work for the ballfield and northern parking lot must be completed prior to September 1, 2026; to allow for the 2026 recreational football season and all its amenities to be in place and operational.
