NOI Title: Forensic Psychiatric Community Transition & Enhanced Care Services

Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Forensic Psychiatric Community Transition & Enhanced Care Services for Forensic Psychiatric Services for a term of one year at an estimated value of $4,333,745.00. Coast Mental Health
293 East 11th Avenue Vancouver, BC V5T 2C4 In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason.
• the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
• to ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative;
Rationale
Coast Mental Health, a Vancouver based Non-Profit foundation, has been providing Forensic Psychiatric Community Transition & Enhanced Care Services to PHSA’s Forensic Psychiatric Services. These services include forensic client’s community transition services and forensic client’s enhanced care housing. This non-profit foundation is the only provider able to facilitate these clinical services.
Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of April Lee, Buyer by email to April.lee1@phsa.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, March 23rd, 2025 PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
