Aims to provide funding for an Infectious Disease TB expert physician consultant for the MDH CTBCP program to provide consultative services to MD local health department clinicians, private providers, and others on TB diagnosis and treatment.; including for multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis. Funding is also provided for CTBCP Program-approved travel. The TB Expert Consultant is expected to review as necessary and /or requested, program policies, protocols, guidelines, presentations, and other documents requiring expertise in tuberculosis and will also assist in education and training for physicians and others.
