Advance Procurement NoticeRequest for Proposal for Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) General ContractorReference #: 5335.20.2507  Purpose of this Advance Procurement NoticeThis advance procurement notice is not a bid solicitation. The City of Cranbrook (the City) is issuing this advance procurement notice indicating to the contractor community that the City intends to issue an open competitive procurement process for engaging qualified and experienced Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) General Contractors through an RFP process for Water System Upgrades. The City intends to post a competitive solicitation document on or about March 27, 2025. The proposed Water Systems Upgrades will include the construction of the following:         UV and onsite sodium hypochlorite generation disinfection facility at the Phillips Reservoir.         Pressure reducing valve station.        Decommissioning and removal of existing treatment building.While the City is not required to provide this Advance Procurement Notice, the City believes this information will enhance transparency, foster full and open competition, and provide contractors with an opportunity to begin preparing proposals to meet the specified requirements.
The competitive solicitation will be posted to the BC Bid Website at https://www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/ .
This process being undertaken does not constitute an offer by the City. No contract results from the issuance if this Advance Procurement Notice. No duties or obligations on the part of the City shall be implied. The City may cancel the process at anytime without any award or liability whatsoever.
