Summary

Dane County is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Pheasant Branch - Frederick Springs Overlook located at 4864 Pheasant Branch Road, Middleton, WI 53562 . This project involves installation of an engineered boardwalk, staircases, railings, and platform for enhanced accessibility and viewing experience, and is being delivered under a lump sum contract. Bidder to provide all material, labor, supervision and equipment to provide and install timber walk, stair and platform as depicted in project plans and specifications including earthwork, steel and timber construction.

Interested vendors should have demonstrated experience in timber construction and the ability to manage projects of similar size and complexity. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at 4864 Pheasant Branch Road Middleton Wi- Meet in the parking lot , and all questions must be submitted by Friday, January 30, 2026 .
